What's new in this version

An all-new car: the first fully electric BMW 3 Series, built on BMW's Neue Klasse technology with an 800V system, cylindrical battery cells and up to 400 kW charging. It shares only its name with the 2013-2022 BMW i3 city car. Orders opened in June 2026 with the i3 50 xDrive First Edition, and the cheaper i3 40 xDrive joined the range at the end of September 2026. An i3 M60 xDrive follows in 2027.
